At TransCanada, we don't just build energy infrastructure. We also build relationships.

Whether it's partnering with community groups, supporting local initiatives or encouraging our employees to be involved in their neighbourhoods, our goal is to build strong and vibrant communities across North America.

Giving back to the communities where we operate always has been and always will be part of our everyday culture. It's all part of being an employer of choice, a good neighbour and a trusted community partner.

Before Applying

For TransCanada, community investment is a voluntary contribution on behalf of the company in support of a non-profit, registered charity, association or foundation that generates clear and demonstrable value to the communities where we live and work.

We concentrate our community investment efforts in three focus areas: safety, community and environment. Please take the time to visit our website and learn more about our focus areas.

You can also visit the Types of Support page to learn more about our funding criteria to better enable you to submit a successful request.

The online application will take approximately twenty (20) minutes to complete, depending on the scope of your initiative . By clicking "next," you have the ability to save each page and return to edit those pages before submission. However, once your application is submitted, you will not be able to go back and make changes.

All questions marked with an asterisk must be completed.

We strongly recommend that you attach supporting documents, such as written proposals, at the end of your application as this will help us to better assess your application.

Before submitting your request, you may print a copy of your application for your records by clicking "Printable Form" at the top right of this screen. You cannot access your application for printing once it has been submitted to TransCanada.

Upon submission of your application, you will receive an email from TransCanada indicating that the application has been received.

To ensure proper consideration, we require six (6) to eight (8) weeks to review an application and respond to the applicant.

All information collected will be used to assess your application and will be kept strictly confidential.
